amfAR, AVAC, COC Netherlands, and International Rectal Microbicide Advocates (IRMA) are pleased to announce new 2014 GLAM (Global Lube Access Mobilization) grants for innovative projects in sub-Saharan Africa advocating for better national and local-level access to safe, affordable, condom-compatible lubricant to improve HIV prevention services. Organizations that can demonstrate affiliations with amfAR, AVAC, COC Netherlands, or IRMA in English, French, and Portuguese-speaking sub-Saharan African countries are encouraged to submit an application. Seven applicants will each receive a $5,000 award.

The application deadline is March 25, 2014 and previous GLAM grantees are not eligible. The funds may not be used to purchase lubricant. The awards will be announced in early May, and the approved projects will receive funding to conduct activities from June–November 2014. Application and budget forms are available in English, French, and Portuguese. Click here for the Budget Forms for applications in any language.
