amfAR SUPPORTER SINCE 2000 

For over a decade, Louis Vuitton and its North American division have supported many of amfAR’s high-profile international and domestic events, including Cinema Against AIDS in Cannes and Venice, amfAR Milano, the New York Gala, TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art in Dallas, Texas, The Inspiration Gala São Paulo, and the San Francisco Fall Gala. 

In 2000, Louis Vuitton introduced a new line of vanity cases specially designed by Sharon Stone, amfAR’s global fundraising chairman, with proceeds benefiting amfAR. 

At the New York Gala in 2010, Louis Vuitton’s chairman and chief executive officer, Yves Carcelle, was presented with amfAR’s Award of Courage for producing the Louis Vuitton Vanity Case line, which has raised more than $3.2 million for amfAR’s programs.
