Diana L. Taylor

Joined the amfAR board in March 2007 and served as secretary from February 2008 until February 2011. Has more than
20 years experience serving in the public and private sectors. Currently chairs
the boards of ACCION International, Hudson River Park Trust, New York Women’s
Foundation, and the YMCA of Greater New York. She also serves on the boards of
Citigroup, Brookfield Properties, and Sotheby’s. Other board memberships include
Dartmouth College, Mailman School of Public Health, the International Women’s Health
Coalition, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Economic Club of New York.
In April 2007, Ms. Taylor joined the strategic consulting and investment firm,
Wolfensohn Fund Management L.P., as a managing director. Previously, she was
superintendent of banks for the State of New York and chairwoman of the New York
State Banking Board. Before her government service, Ms. Taylor worked in the private
sector as vice president for KeySpan Energy and as an investment banker with
Smith Barney, Lehman Brothers, and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette. Ms. Taylor
is a graduate of Dartmouth College (B.A., economics), Columbia University’s
Mailman School of Public Health (M.P.H.), and the Columbia Business School
(M.B.A., finance).
