BACKGROUND
On September 27, 2010, amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, will present the second annual amfAR Milano event, to be held in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week. We are delighted to be returning to Milan following the success of last year’s inaugural event, which received extraordinary support from the Italian fashion community. The Foundation’s international events—which have been held in Cannes, Venice, Rome, Toronto, Paris, Vienna, and Dubai—are some of the most high-profile and eagerly anticipated fundraisers in the world and have helped raise more than $50 million for our critical AIDS research programs. amfAR’s events consistently draw an exciting and diverse range of distinguished guests, and amfAR Milano will not disappoint. Guests will include many of the celebrities, personalities, and designers associated with Milan Fashion Week, as well as famous names from the worlds of music, business, art, and international society.
