TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art Presented by Audi

2 by 2 2013

The 15th annual TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art gala dinner and auction at The Rachofsky House on October 26 was a spectacular success, raising more than $5 million for amfAR and the Dallas Museum of Art. Highlights included a mesmerizing performance by eight-time Grammy winner Gladys Knight and the presentation of amfAR’s Leadership Award to Kiehl’s President and longtime amfAR supporter Chris Salgardo, fresh from the Kiehl’s Texas Run for TWO x TWO—an awareness raising motorcycle ride from Austin to Dallas. The weeklong series of TWO x TWO events culminated in a Sunday Brunch where Belgian artist Luc Tuymans was presented with the amfAR Award of Excellence for Artistic Contributions to the Fight Against AIDS.

Thanks to the phenomenal support of the dealer and artist community the world over, to date, TWO x TWO has raised over $45 million in its 14-year history supporting amfAR’s AIDS research initiatives and the DMA’s contemporary art acquisition program. TWO x TWO is amfAR’s largest domestic fundraiser and is the DMA’s largest annual benefit event.
