Born in 1961, Remo Ruffini honed his creativity and knowledge of marketing at home and, as a young man living in the United States, he began working with his father at Gianfranco Ruffini Limited. After returning to Italy, he launched two clothing labels, New England Company and Ingrose.

Ruffini purchased Moncler in 2003 after working for the company for three years as a creative consultant. He rebuilt the brand by relaunching its signature quilted down jacket and strengthening the company’s other sportswear offerings. He developed Moncler Group into a leading luxury group focused on sportswear, which includes Moncler, Henry Cotton’s, Marina Yachting, and Coast Weber & Ahaus. He is currently Moncler’s chairman and CEO.

He is married with two children and lives in Como, Italy.
