Robert Duffy, President of Marc Jacobs International, co-founded the brand with Marc Jacobs in 1986. The New York-based fashion house has gone on to become one of the most influential in the world, with over 200 stores worldwide. Duffy and Jacobs joined Louis Vuitton in 1997 as Studio Director and Artistic Director, respectively.

A longtime supporter of charitable organizations, Duffy is committed to giving back to both worldwide causes and to the communities that house Marc Jacobs stores. This commitment has led to many successful collaborations with charities including the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the NYU Skin Cancer Institute, Aid for AIDS, Human Rights Coalition, Designers Against AIDS, and amfAR.
