Diana Ross to Headline amfAR’s Inaugural Dallas Benefit Gala

Gene and Jerry Jones Family to Be Honored

Dallas, Texas, July 24, 2025 — After 25 successful years of TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art benefit galas under the leadership of visionary founders Cindy and Howard Rachofsky, amfAR will return to Texas with its inaugural amfAR Dallas fundraiser on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The event will take place at the home of Kathleen and Scott Kirby and will feature an exclusive performance by the legendary Diana Ross.

The Gene and Jerry Jones Family will receive amfAR’s Philanthropic Leadership Award for their inspiring commitment to amfAR’s mission. The Jones Family were leading supporters of TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art for several years and have also supported amfAR’s flagship gala in Cannes, France.

In classic amfAR style, amfAR Dallas will include cocktails, a seated dinner, and a live auction of luxury goods, one-of-a-kind experiences, and contemporary art. Proceeds from the event will benefit amfAR’s mission to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic through innovative cure research. The Dallas community has raised more than $65 million in support of amfAR’s work over the years.

“We are deeply grateful to Kathleen and Scott Kirby for graciously offering to host amfAR Dallas, and we applaud the Dallas community for its unwavering support of amfAR’s work and recognizing our efforts to find a cure for HIV remain as critically important as ever,” said amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost.

Effective treatments, many of them developed with the help of amfAR’s groundbreaking research, have rendered HIV a manageable condition for millions worldwide. But nearly 10 million people living with HIV currently do not have access to lifesaving medication, including more than 600,000 children. In the U.S., Southern states are disproportionately impacted by HIV, accounting for nearly half of all new diagnoses each year.

The HIV/AIDS pandemic will not end without a cure for HIV that can be made available to all who need it. amfAR has long been at the forefront of the search for a cure, and funds raised at benefit events like amfAR Dallas are a vital source of support for its lifesaving research.

“We are honored to be hosting amfAR for this exciting new event and pleased to do what we can to support the organization’s critical work,” Kathleen and Scott Kirby said. “We look forward to helping amfAR raise as much money as possible to fuel the innovative research that we hope will deliver a cure for HIV.”
