New York, NY, July 23, 2026 — Pop sensation and chart-topping artist Bebe Rexha has been added to the lineup of amfAR Venezia taking place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Molino Stucky Venice during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The event, which raises funds for amfAR’s mission to support lifesaving HIV research and improve global health, will honor renowned conceptual and performance artist Marina Abramović with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration.
“We are beyond excited to have longtime amfAR supporter Bebe Rexha with us in Venice this year,” said amfAR CEO Kyle Clifford. “With her powerhouse vocals and dynamic stage presence, her performance is sure to be a highlight of the evening.”
Bebe Rexha has established herself as a global force through her powerful and unapologetic pop identity, a catalogue of enduring hits, and a rare ability to transcend and effortlessly move between genres while maintaining the signature of her identity through her instantly recognizable voice.
Bebe has marked the global scene with tracks and collaborations that have become essential classics, including Meant to Be, I’m Good (Blue) with David Guetta, In the Name of Love with Martin Garrix, and most recently the global dance number one hit New Religion with Faithless from her new album Dirty Blonde. Bebe’s first album as an independent artist, Dirty Blonde saw her assume full creative control and earned her first No. 1 on the Billboard Top Dance Albums chart.
Through her impressive catalogue of her own hits and songwriting discography that includes The Monster by Eminem featuring Rihanna, Bebe has established herself as a generational artist, at once a fierce performer, prolific songwriter, and major powerhouse in contemporary pop.
amfAR has a long association with Italy, hosting events in Venice and Milan through the years. Recent amfAR Venezia honorees have included Antonio Banderas, Richard Gere, Ava DuVernay, Ferzan Özpetek, Achille Boroli, Mohammed Al Turki, and, most recently, Julian Schnabel.
In addition to the musical performances and honoree presentation, amfAR Venezia will feature cocktails, a black-tie gala dinner, and a live auction of contemporary artworks and one-of-a-kind experiences.
World Gold Council is the Presenting Sponsor of amfAR Venezia. Chopard is the evening’s Signature Sponsor, and Variety is the event’s Media Partner.
